Map your tech stack: from messy to manageable
When we’re feeling stuck, or we want to make a change, it’s easy to reach for new tech. And now that so much of our lives and work are online, there’s an endless supply of tools at our fingertips.
But in time we can end up over-subscribed to a bunch of tools that don’t serve us.
Before you know it your team is communicating across Slack, email, Signal and WhatsApp; you’re storing information in Dropbox, Google Drive, Airtable and Notion; and you’re managing projects across spreadsheets, Asana and Miro (plus various scraps of paper and post-its scattered on your desk).
Not good.
When your tech stack works AGAINST you, there’s confusion over what tools to use when, collaboration feels draining, and people reluctantly put up with systems rather than make the most of them.
But when your tech stack works FOR you, you can save time, everyone’s on the same page, your work today builds on what you did yesterday and creates leverage for tomorrow.
So, what can we do about it?
In this workshop you’ll:
Map the tech you currently use (and its intended purpose)
Identify specific pain points for yourself and your team
Take a step back and decide what you actually need from your tech stack
Come up with a plan of action to engage your team
Meet peers trying to make similar changes
This workshop is right for you if:
You feel overwhelmed by your tech stack
You want to take practical steps now to get clearer on what’s not working
You’re in a position to make changes for your team but you need a plan of action
Want to work on this but can’t make the workshop time? Contact us using the email below and once the workshop has finished we’ll share a workbook with steps you can complete in your own time.
