​Rachel Mann is a seasoned literary agent with a keen eye for talent and a passion for connecting authors with publishers who share their vision. With years of experience in the industry, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role, helping authors navigate the complexities of the publishing world. 

​Join us for a Q&A with Rachel as we discuss the role of a literary agent in an author's journey to publication, tips for querying and finding the right agent for your work, and the importance of building strong author-agent relationships. 

​About  Rachel Mann 

​Rachel Mann is a literary agent at Creative Artists Agency. She spent ten years editing and commissioning fiction for young people at houses including Penguin Random House and Simon & Schuster, and was Publishing Director at the Roald Dahl Story Company. She moved into agenting in 2018, at JULA agency, where she represented authors across the adult and children’s markets for both fiction and non-fiction. Her clients, such as Caleb Femi and Eliza Clark, have been selected as Granta Best Young British Novelist, won the Forward Prize for Poetry, the Bookseller Discover Prize; have been shortlisted for the Folio Prize, the Waterstone's Children's Book Prize, the YA Book Prize and the FAB prize; and nominated for the Carnegie Medal.
