About Event

This course intends to equip emerging leaders with tools & approaches to lead their teams successfully.

In a small team composed of 6 leaders, you will share experiences and connect on a deeper level while guided by teamwork expert facilitators.

Learning Objectives 

After the course, you will:  

  • Understand the concepts of Psychological Safety & Team Cohesion and why they are the key to team performance;

  • Learn how to manage objectives and roles to maximise team efficiency;

  • Apply feedback and retrospective for efficient learning;

  • Foster a culture of inclusion and trust;

  • Get a toolbox ready to use in your professional adventure.

Learning Plan

Intro |  Kick-off: Expectation alignment

We will kick off the program by aligning expectations and discussing the learning plan.

Module 1 | Psychological Safety & Team Cohesion

In the first module, you will understand the concept of Psychological Safety, then you will learn how to monitor cohesion in your team & organisation. Finally, you will practice methods of building trust.

Module 2  | Objectives & Roles

In the second module, you will focus on how to ensure the clarity of goals in a team, how to align with other teams, how to distribute ownership based on competencies, and how to build a structure that maximises efficiency.

Module 3  | Processes & Culture

Next, you will reflect on your processes and get inspired by best practices that lead to building an open communication structure and maximising team efficiency. 

Module 4  | Feedback & Retrospective

In this final module, you will learn how to use feedback & retrospective confidently - to improve project outcomes, team effectiveness and personal growth.

Overview

Description: facilitated group sessions on Leadership and teamwork, max 6 participants. We expect active participation and will be using MURAL for exercises (learn how to use it here: https://bit.ly/2Vk74xT).

Audience: people that will soon become or have just become managers (last 1-2 years).

Length: Four weeks, 1 group session/week 

Duration: 2h 15 minutes/session (total 9 hours online)  

Coaching session: 2 x 30min 1:1 with Adam or Larissa

Price: 499 Euro/participant

Adam Ambrozy, founder | Adam is a multi-awarded former strategy executive converted into a tech entrepreneur, innovation strategist, coach, and speaker. In the last 10 years, he helped develop many successful teams for clients like Lidl International, IBM, Naspers Group, Audi, Etisalat and tens of start-ups & scale-ups. Hyper Island alumnus lived in 9 countries, making cultural immersion and cross-cultural team development the centre of his professional life.

Larissa Menocci, co-founder | Larissa is a communication professional, strategist, and human connection designer. She is an expert on how to use Design Thinking for team development. Since 2011 she has facilitated hundreds of workshops in three continents and remotely, leading tens of teams to business success. Larissa is a Hyper Island and Berlin School of Creative Leadership alumna and continuously strives to make people work together better.
