Every one of us has at least one aspect of our true expression that doesn't get to take the spotlight often enough.
The proverbial spotlight is automatically reserved for the mask of our familiar self: the persona. It gets the automatic main character role in the movie of our life.
And, it is the ego's masterpiece, informed and shaped by the feedback information we receive from our experiences and relationships indicating what is most celebrated - and socially safe - about who we are, or can be.
For the lucky ones, the persona is strengthened by the light of our soul, having been encouraged and honored by the world around us. But often, even for those of us who have a healthy ratio of authentic expression that gets to flow through our persona, this default-mode character gets ensnared by the game of social validation, and abandons soul for security.
Meanwhile, there are vast reservoirs of soul force waiting to be tapped in the characters that we had behind the curtain.
In our sidelined villain, there is major power.
In the seductress we wrote out of the script, there is creative vitality.
In the competitor that never got to play, there is undiscovered talent.
And there are so many more to be met...
In this special creative immersion - part poetry workshop, part treasure hunt of the psyche - we will peek behind the scenes of our ordinary lives to see what latent, exiled power has been waiting to be cast in the starring role of our art.
We will explore what it means to embody "Main Character Energy" in our creative work, and in our personal expression, everywhere that we walk. I will share prompts, practices and a surprise project that can help you experiment with the dreamwork magic of ritual theater to bring your innate power back onto the stage that has been headlining the persona for far too long.

Class Flow: The poetry class portion will run about 45-60 minutes, followed by timed writing together for 30 minutes, optional sharing to read your piece to the group (30 min est.), and closing guidance from Caitlyn for ritual integration in the upcoming Summer season.
For those who cannot attend the call live, you will receive the workshop recording along with the prompts!
