Who will be speaking?
Our featured keynote speaker, Stephanie Ho is a 20-year-old endurance athlete and adventurer. She visited Antarctica at age 14, where the harsh polar environment captured her imagination and inspired her to challenge herself in the coldest and windiest places on earth.
She has completed numerous international treks, including to Everest Base Camp. In July 2022, she will complete a 350km ultramarathon from Canberra to Coogee, with the goal of raising $30,000 to build a science lab for a Nepalese high school.
Her goal is not only to inspire others through her polar adventures but also to raise much-needed funds for the Fred Hollows Foundation to give young children around the world the gift of sight. Stephanie hopes her journeys will encourage other young people to live their own dreams, no matter how scary or crazy they might seem. She says that people often question what she does, and remind her of the dangers – but she is more afraid of living life comfortably!
