What's Written on A Dog's Face?

​Join us for an informative event with Courtney Sexton, M.F.A., M.S. and Lead Researcher of the Dog Face Study at George Washington University.

​Courtney is a writer and scientist who designed the Dog Face Study to help us better understand our dogs. During this talk, she will give us background on the study of dog facial expressions. She will also share examples of common dog facial expressions and certain dog behaviors that humans sometimes misinterpret. You will also learn how the Dog Face Study is being conducted and how you and your dog can participate!
