About Event

In class 3, we will build upon the knowledge gained in the first two classes by using the value proposition and the results of a rapid network assessment to inform and design network operations.

The class will specifically cover the topic of rapid assessment and how it can be used to understand the participants in the network and their needs. With this understanding, participants will then use this information to design the boundaries and protocols of the network. This class will give attendees a deeper understanding of how to create a network that aligns with its purpose and the needs of its members by applying the insights gained from the rapid network assessment and the network value proposition.

We can review any questions you might have and see where people are with what factors you might consider when conducting your rapid assessment to inform network design. How do you determine what specific information to gather during a rapid assessment? How can the value proposition of a network be used to guide the rapid assessment process? How can you ensure that the rapid assessment process is inclusive and representative of all participants in the network? How can you use the insights gained from the rapid assessment to improve the network's plans or future operations and offerings? How can the results of the rapid assessment and the value proposition be used to shape the membership criteria of the network? How can we make sure that network operations and protocols are in line with the network's purpose and the needs of its members?
