About Event

On March the 30th we will continue with our monthly Ask an Investor series. We have now done this for two months in a row and startups love the informal environment where they can ask anything they want to experienced investors over a glass of wine.  This month we will have 4 powerful female investors from funds, angel groups and solo investors sharing their perspective of what drives their investment decisions. There is no cost for this event as it's how we at the DOJO py back to the startup ecosystem.

Here at Expert DOJO, we recognize that startups need the support of the venture community to help break through to levels that allow you to compete with the best venture backed startups in the world. Every month, Expert DOJO will be arranging 4-5 top angels and venture capitalists to answer questions and guide you as to how to build the billion dollar company that you have already visualized.

Agenda:

  • 6:00 PM - Mingle

  • 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM - Investor Panel

  • 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM - Networking

This session is especially important because it takes a different type of founder to build a seed stage company, an A stage company, and a unicorn. During this session, our investor experts will answer the difficult questions to help you navigate this road. Come and join us!

Meet the top female angels and venture capitalists presenting:

Prior to that venture, Jenny had filled the role of founder, CEO, and driving force behind Vantage Investments, another full-service broker-dealer and investment banking firm that she started while still in her twenties and quickly grew to a-third-of-a-billion dollars in assets.

Ms. Ta’s next two entrepreneurial endeavors included masterminding two modern tech companies: VCNetwork.co, a virtual “E-Harmony meets Shark Tank” matching entrepreneurs with VCs, and CoinLinked.com, an American online social commerce platform powered by a decentralized blockchain solution to connect the traditional marketplaces of today with the digital currencies of tomorrow. These two more-recent ventures were solidly grounded in Jenny’s rich business background, which includes extensive firsthand experience in senior executive management, sales, marketing, and finance, with forays into the FinTech industry and exploration of the opportunities that cryptocurrencies, blockchain, and other distributed ledger technologies afford.
