Idea Jam - Lisbon
Welcome to the first Idea Jam by your new friends at Risco*.
This is not a lecture. It’s not a "networking" event. It's a facilitated session where we flex the prefrontal cortex - where ideas are generated - and have some fun.
It’s for the curious thinkers, the tinkerers, the builders, and the dreamers. Or anyone who feels like they want to use their brain for something creative!
Maybe you've noticed you see weird patterns in things. Or you feel friction in the everyday. You say things like “ffs, why is this still a thing?” but also a bit of "someone should do something about that!"
We’re gathering to jam — with no expectation — on ideas that matter.
No pressure to pitch. No need to be “ready.” Just show up with a curious mindset.
It’s going to be hands-on.
We’ll be:
Problem Mining - the personal pain points and the patterns you’ve spotted in the world.
Solution Hacking - Playing with possible directions and “what ifs.” No right answers, just better questions.
Lightning Pitches - 60 secs to share one idea you’re into — not to show off, but to connect, collaborate, or spark more ideas.
The Outcome: who knows! hopefully some cool ideas, new energy, collaborative connections... and maybe we will create something that didn't exist before - how cool is that!
Who it’s for:
• Pre-founders, maybe-founders, and people dreaming of changing something
• Product thinkers, creatives, and systems designers
• Anyone who wants to build something meaningful (eventually)
You don’t need an idea.
You just need curiosity, energy, and an itch to fix things.

*Who TF is Risco? Honestly - not sure yet. An embryo in itself being cooked by Nicola Telford (hi!).
These jams will help start, shape or kill Risco so that if we do anything, it's solving meaningful problems for those who are solving world problems.
If you're curious, we're currently thinking this will take the shape of an incubator/venture studio. But we're not attached to an outcome here, so let's see! If you're in the startup ecosystem in Lisbon and seeing gaps - I'd love to chat with you.
