Hearth: Pasta Methodologies Session #3
Join us for a pasta-making workshop with Liza Pittard and Sam Taylor at Ours! Co-hosted by Ours and ICA at VCU the workshop will be an introduction to the tradition of handcrafting pasta followed by a cozy, candle-lit dinner with your pasta cohort.
Liza Pittard is an artist and researcher based in Richmond, VA. Her work ebbs and flows between sound, food, image, and scent, interfacing with the intimacy of archives, expressions of land, and table theater. She works out of her shared studio, Working Room, where she curates regular film screenings. Her work often utilizes home cooking and gathering as a medium to explore ideas of play and communion.
At 2309 West Main Street, Ours is a community center dedicated to peer-led learning, collaborative work, and public programming. More than just a space, it's a living canvas where members' ideas, conversations, and dreams take root and flourish. Sam Taylor, the center's director, serves as its welcoming host and guiding spirit. Learn more about us at www.ours.today.
