✨💛 Hong Kong Tree-Planting Day | April
Come enjoy and give back to Hong Kong's gorgeous trails this April!
We'll be tapping into the spirit of spring by rolling up our sleeves with Ark Eden's native tree planting programme in Mui Wo's hillsides, followed by a delicious afternoon learning about permaculture planting in action. It will be a glorious day in nature connecting with climate-passionate women professionals and with the land.
Ark Eden Foundation is a leading permaculture education project & accredited Forest School site located in an isolated valley in the foothills on Mui Wo, Lantau Island, Hong Kong. Founder Jenny Quinton will accompany us!
9.00am - Arrive in Mui Wo
9.45am - Arrive at Tree Nursery for orientation
10.30am - Tree-planting at reforestation site
1.00pm - Lunch (bring your own)
2.00pm - Visit Ark Eden's permaculture site and food systems
4.00pm - Leave Ark Eden
4.40pm - Arrive at Mui Wo pier for departure
Please note: there will be considerable walking including uphill to the tree planting site (30-40 min. steep in parts, exposed to the sun). Bring enough water and dress accordingly!

Payment: $550 per person
Tree planting is a complex activity that requires significant preparation and liaison with the government. The fee includes all tools and materials, morning and afternoon tea and insurance. Does not include transportation and lunch.
Please secure your spot with a bank transfer to Ark Eden ($550 to HSBC 534-801196-001) and send the payment record to me after signing up on Luma. Ark Eden is a registered Hong Kong charity.
