About Event

Are you interested in learning about contemporary, AI-enabled marketing tools and tactics? What about lessons from the ideas that have defined the cutting edge of digital marketing leading to today? Join us at Digital Garage in downtown San Francisco for this session on digital marketing for startups, cohosted by Fetch AI at their Innovation Lab (https://innovationlab.fetch.ai/).

To begin with, we'll hear from Mike Berry, Regional CIO at Adobe and career digital marketer, about the history of marketing best practices and his advice on leveraging AI for marketing today. 

Next, we'll break into groups to share about the tools we've discovered and are using for each of branding, lead gen, inbound lead management, customer relationship management, and other topics you suggest. Come with a laptop if you like, ready to share what you've been using to handle your digital marketing. 

If your startup is in the marketing space, this might be a good event for you to attend, too, as we'll all be keen to learn about it. 

About Mike Perry:

Mike left McGeorge School of Law to start a website development company in the halcyon dotcom days. After experiencing the pain of bankruptcy, he went on to work at an agency which led to a role at Business Objects and then Apple where he launched CRM and 1 st party data collection initiatives for their online store. At eBay he invented a content supply chain solution (USPTO 8,175,910) which led to his next role at PayPal where he implemented that solution and became the leader of the global project management team that used it.

He led the Marketing Technology team at Shutterfly and expanded their efforts into omni-channel marketing culminating in the development of AI for personalization and targeting. After that, he created the MarTech team at Stitch Fix and owned the company's migration to both a new CRM solution and a new email provider. He ran a similar team at Conde Nast supporting the efforts of The New Yorker, Vogue, Wired and other brands. Currently, he reports into the CIO of Adobe and supports the Global Marketing Organization for all their data and infrastructure needs.

Mike is the author of a science fiction novel, System Catcher, and is working on a business volume with the working title of Ten Billion Journeys: How AI is Revolutionizing Marketing Technology.
