M13 Presents: Building Founder-Friendly Ecosystems Beyond Silicon Valley

​After an unprecedented few years, Austin's already-storied startup ecosystem's reputation has burst beyond the Texas border and spread across the world. Like New York and Los Angeles before it, the city contends with the template that Silicon Valley has set for the past 50 years.

On Feb 8, join M13, The Fund, and Silverton Partners for an evening of connection and conversation about the present and future of the Austin startup community and how to nurture founder-friendly ecosystems beyond Silicon Valley.

​During the fireside chat portion of the evening, Brent Murri (Principal, M13,) Nick Mares (CEO, Upside Financing,) and Tina Dai (Silverton Partners) will compare and contrast the Los Angeles and Austin ecosystems — highlighting what makes a city founder-friendly and uncovering what challenges may lie ahead.
