London Book Launch: The Seductive Illusion of Hardwork | RSVP by July 16 | Event on July 23
Hi there,
Hope you are doing well and enjoying flirting with sunshine in London. I am writing to invite you to the first in-person discussion of my book "The Seductive Illusion of Hard Work" published by Sage International.
Professor Klaus Schwab, the founder of World Economic Forum, has written the foreword of the book and some of my mentors have shared thoughtful reviews.
It is a book on CI (Career Intelligence) that captures some of my lessons from building Network Capital first as a passion project and then as a full time gig - hopping around the world chasing one adventure at a time. I take you on a trip from Moldova to Davos to tiny villages in India.
Join in 6 pm, July 23, 2021 at Rustique Cafe, a quaint family-run literary cafe in Tufnell Park, for a conversation on our complicated love-hate relationship with work in the 21st century. Please RSVP by July 16, 9pm.
You can purchase the book using the link below. I have decided to give away all my royalty payment to an endowment fund working towards educational equity.
P.S. The event is free but we would love for you to support Rustique Cafe by ordering coffee/tea/snacks when you arrive. The gentleman running the cafe is wonderful. We must do all we can to support small businesses recovering from the pandemic.
