Self proclaimed "Hillbilly soul" artist Whistlin' Dyl has been writing songs that bring to mind old country and the Talking Heads. His eclectic songs tell stories of love, police complications, and the hard work of trying to make a better world. The backing band, Spice Rack lays down solid grooves that transport the listener from a back porch venison roast to a hard driving funk to get you shaking whatever you got.
