Out of Hours: December Meditation Sessions
Join the final meditation sessions of the year - every Monday and Friday, designed to give you balance and calm.
Meditation is the space we need to become self-aware, calm and intentional. But it can be hard to keep up a regular practice when alone.
I know first-hand that there is power in accountability and community when building a meditation habit.
So, this experiment will take place in October:
It will run 7.15am - 7.35am every Monday + Friday mornings on Zoom (GMT).
It will be a simple beginners meditation for busy people, around 15 minutes.
You won't have to chat if you don't want, simply arrive and take part.
It will cost a nominal £30 for the whole month of Monday & Friday sessions (commitment helps accountability)
Why join?
The goal is to help you build a regular meditation practice over one month that can carry you to the end of the year.
Meditation reduces stress and anxiety, helps give you time before emotional reactions, improves your sleep patterns, and boosts focus and memory. The people around us, and our own jaw tension, will feel the difference.
About me (the meditation guide)
I have worked in tech for a decade. I discovered meditation 15 years ago, stumbling across a course at the Buddhist centre in London and then again while travelling in India and Nepal, and have continued to learn about it ever since. Meditation and yoga has helped me, and I have a desire to share it with others - especially those with busy jobs and home lives. My sessions focus on mindfulness meditation: combining stillness, gentle breathwork, and rich insights from my trainings. I believe the best meditation sessions invite you to build self-trust, a sense of release, emotional equanimity and also deeper self inquiry, offering tools to stay connected to ourselves in the storm of everyday life.
What does this include?
This ticket includes 9 x sessions in October - every Monday and Friday - starting 3 December and ending before Christmas on 23 December.
Sessions run from 7.15am GMT for 20 minutes.
