MakerFarm Community Potluck Afterparty
Join us for our monthly community potluck as we open it up to all attendees of SF Climate week!
If you have heard the words collaboration, community, resilience and diversity enough during climate week and want to kick back and enjoy what that can look like in the Bay Area, come on over! Don't worry if you aren't able to bring anything, come anyway.
Bay Area MakerFarm is an outdoor venue, work space and urban farm that practices regeneration, zero-waste and local resilience. You will be attending our regular monthly party of artists, makers, roboticists, engineers, designers, engineers, teachers, community organizers, inventors and local movers and shakers. We keep our doors open for collaboration, experimentation and education with our shared goals of making the world a better place starting with local community and you!
Feel free to bring food, instruments and friends - or just yourself! We will be outdoors, wear something warm and casual with close toed shoes.
If you are in SF, don't let the location scare you off!! Its a breathtaking beautiful ride on the ferry from Embarcadero and a one block walk from the ferry terminal in Alameda.
Details on how to get there: We recommend taking the ferry from the SF Embarcadero & Ferry Building to the Main Street Alameda Ferry Terminal and walking 5 minutes to MakerFarm (the ferry will first stop in Oakland before then going to Alameda. Don't worry about tickets if you don't have Clipper Card, you can also pay after you board the ferry.)
The typical ferry schedule is as follows: but do check the official schedule or google maps for any updates
SF > Main St Alameda
