An Intersectional Approach to Social Mobility: Creating Lasting Change
We’re thrilled to invite you to our event, celebrating Social Mobility Day and three years of GoodWork’s impact!
Sponsored by our partners at Daintta, we'll be bringing together young people, employers, changemakers and partners keen to be part of the movement to create more inclusive professional opportunities.
Our aim is to elevate less commonly heard voices, learn from best practice and have powerful conversations around the tangible action we want to drive social mobility. We'll be particularly focusing on intersectionality - ensuring we’re breaking down barriers for those who need it most.
We'd like to go beyond discussion and will be asking all attendees to make a pledge for action on the night. We'll have plenty of ideas to help you think about what you might do - from sharing learnings with colleagues, to getting more involved in driving our shared mission.
The event will be at our brand new Community Hub on Warren Street, marking an exciting new chapter for us, and for our work to drive meaningful change.
The evening will consist of:
A welcome reception and networking
A panel discussion with young people and changemakers - platforming lived experience and insights into effective interventions
Further networking and pledging, accompanied by drinks and nibbles!
We'd be delighted for you to join us!
As we have limited space available, we are asking guests to register here to ensure a balanced group of attendees and that we don't exceed our capacity. One of our team will confirm your attendance as soon as possible.
This event will be on the second floor, lift access is available. Please note that unfortunately we do not currently have accessible bathrooms at our office.
We'll be taking photos and video during the event to share on our social media and website. If you'd prefer not to be included in any content, please let our team know.
