Julia Thoneick is the Senior Manager of Team Effectiveness at Visa University, where she leads global initiatives to help people leaders build stronger, more connected, and higher-performing teams. With nearly six years at Visa, Julia has played a key role in designing and facilitating scalable development programs that support team collaboration, engagement, psychological safety, and career growth. A certified coach and experienced facilitator, she specializes in strength-based development, emotional intelligence, and growth mindset—bringing both strategic rigor and human-centered design to every program she leads.
Prior to Visa, Julia held leadership roles in people development and HR across Europe, including Payworks (acquired by Visa), Stylight, Zalando, and McKinsey & Company. She is known for her intuitive and emotionally intelligent approach, her passion for creating appreciative team cultures, and her commitment to unlocking the strengths and potential of individuals and teams alike.
