in the forest, when a tree is uprooted or injured, it doesn’t heal alone.
The surrounding ecosystem responds—mycelial networks, nearby roots, and interwoven canopies offer nourishment, stability, and quiet support. Slowly, in the shadow of rupture, the tree begins to heal—rooting itself again in a new way. Scarred, yes. But still alive. Still becoming.
Much of this healing happens in liminal space—between wounding and repair, between collapse and care, between uprooting and new growth.
It’s the same space so many of us now find ourselves in.
In the wake of the dismantling of federal agencies and USAID by the current regime, the ripple effects have been felt across the country and around the world—disrupting lives, undermining decades of work, and shaking the foundation of what it means to serve the public good. For those who built careers on mission, justice, and care, this moment has left many asking:
Who am I now?
How do I hold and honor my grief?
What does service look like from here?
And how do I find my footing in the aftermath of it all?
Overview:
You’ve given your career to service—rooted in mission, care, and a belief in something larger than yourself.
But in the wake of political instability and the recent dismantling of the federal government, you may be feeling disoriented, betrayed, or burned out.
/the space between/ is a place to land as you figure out what's next.
It’s not a hustle space.
It’s not about fixing yourself.
It’s a space to process what you’ve been through—so you can move forward rooted in clarity, not fear.
This small group coaching + collective care circle offers a foundation for a path forward—for those who feel uprooted, those grieving the systems they once served, and those beginning to ask: Who am I now? What does service look like from here?
What to Expect:
🌿 6 live weekly collective care circles (2 hours via Zoom)
🌿 the space between workbook + journal to support your journey
🌿 gentle, trauma-informed storytelling + somatic practices
🌿 a small, closed group (4–8 max) for depth, trust, and safety
🌿 optional add on services to support deeper inquiry and healing
6-Week Agenda:
week 1: the convening | GATHER
creating brave space for our work together. Introductions, setting intentions, establishing community agreements, and planting the seeds for collective transformation.
week 2: the naming | WITNESS
acknowledging what's ending, what's been lost, what's brought you to this threshold. Creating space for the grief that comes with letting go.
Week 3: the unlearning | REMEMBER
examining the stories, identities, and beliefs shaped by systems of power, politics, and paradox. Acknowledging the cost of service and grieving what’s been lost to make space for what’s next.
Week 4: the grounding | ROOT
untangling identity and self-worth from roles, titles, outcomes, and productivity—and re-rooting into our personal values and truth with compassion.
Week 5: the restoring | RECLAIM
exploring the anchors and collective care that nourish us—restoring connection, safety, and the conditions for stability and joy.
Week 6: the becoming | RISE
living into our moral root system—ethics, values, and boundaries—and creating pathways to show up with courage, clarity, and care moving forward.
By the end of six weeks, you'll leave with a:
greater capacity to navigate through liminal spaces
deeper understanding of how your experiences have shaped your story
reclaimed connection to your voice, your values, and your truth
new relationship to rest, purpose, and boundaries
vision for how to serve from a place of wholeness—not self-sacrifice
resources and grounding practices to support nervous system regulation and resilience
sense of community and solidarity with others navigating similar transition
This collective care circle is for you if:
You work (or worked) in a mission-driven, service-based sector (government employees, humanitarian or frontline responders, social justice advocates or attorneys, or non-profit professionals)
You’re feeling anger, fear, grief, betrayal, disorientation, or heartbreak by what’s happening around you and in the world
You’ve left—or are considering leaving—your role and feel unsure of what’s next
You’re carrying grief, frustration, fear, or other emotions and need space to unpack it all
You’re ready to root into your values and move forward with clarity, courage, and care—alongside others who are on a similar path
