Berlin Collage Club Workshop - Let's Make a Zine!

​Berlin Collage Club (https://www.instagram.com/berlincollageclub) is hosting a zine making workshop with our friend Alex Bernatzky (https://www.instagram.com/abernatzky), who is a design researcher/ critical designer and avid zine creator! Zines are fun DIY (Do it yourself), self-published magazines, which channel alternative forms of story telling and are rooted in several cultural movements; examples include sci-fi fan zines (1930s), punk movement (70s), and Riot Grrrl, queer, and leftist movements (80s and 90s). For this workshop, we’ll curate and re-purpose images and collage scraps from previous events for added sustainability. All art materials and a complimentary beverage are included in the ticket price.

Alex and I made our own zines whilst preparing the workshop and really enjoyed the interactive visual story-telling challenge, where one creates a series of loosely connected collages, whilst experimenting with different collage techniques and visual styles.
