Sebastian is a Partner at 8VC bringing extensive education and business development experience within healthcare. Founded in 2015, 8VC is a technology and life sciences investment firm with a $880 million venture fund. Prior to his role at 8VC, Sebastian served on the Board of Directors at numerous healthcare companies, building Hopscotch Health (rural healthcare accessibility), KeyCare (virtual care platform), Harbor Health (multi-specialty clinic group), and Nest Health (whole-family at home and online primary care). Sebastian holds a B.S. and M.S. in Molecular Biophysics & Biochemistry from Yale University. He is also M.D. candidate in Biomedical Informatics at Stanford Medicine, currently on leave to work on improving care delivery through Palantir and 8VC.
