An Evening with Louise Minchin

​Join us for an evening of adventure as we relive and celebrate the awe-inspiring feats of some extraordinary women, with journalist, TV presenter, and endurance athlete Louise Minchin.

​We are absolutely delighted to host former BBC Breakfast presenter and all-round superwoman Louise Minchin to discuss her book Fearless: Adventures with Extraordinary Women, in conversation with a leading broadcaster.

​In Fearless, we join Louise as she embarks on 17 exhilarating adventures (for real!) with trailblazing women who are breaking down barriers, smashing records and challenging stereotypes.

​She freedives under the ice in the dark in Finland with Cath, the first woman to swim a mile in the Antarctic Circle; she cycles across Argentina with Mimi, one of the world's most famous female endurance runners; and she swims from Alcatraz with Anaya and Mitali, two young sisters who have braved the shark-infested waters over 70 times.

​This event will see Louise re-live these incredible feats, celebrating the stories of the women she worked alongside, and taking questions from our audience.

​Every ticket includes a paperback copy of Fearless: Adventures with Extraordinary Women, which Louise will sign and dedicate at the end of the event.

​About Louise

​Louise presented the BBC's flagship Breakfast for over 20 years, alongside presenters like Bill Turnbull, Charlie Stayt, and Dan Walker. She left the programme in 2021, and went on to appear in ITV's I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here. She has also presented shows like The One Show, and finished 2nd in Celebrity Masterchef.

​She is also the host of top-rated podcast, Push Your Peak, which sees Louise interview world-class athletes who have done extraordinary things. Louise herself is a Team GB triathlete, having raced for the GB age-group team in five World and European Championships.
