PROJECTS X F&F: Making a profit on your journey to purpose
Connect with like-minded founders for an interactive evening filled with engaging conversations, inspirational talks and a fantastic networking opportunity.
We created this series after seeing too many amazing, purpose-driven founders build for impact while their profits took a back seat. We believe wealth and power must be redistributed for a world worth living in - so let's make it happen, together.
Many founders feel torn between their values and their financial goals. In this session, we’ll dismantle the misconception that profit and purpose are mutually exclusive. Through a dynamic panel discussion with seasoned founders and an interactive workshop, you’ll uncover your “why” and learn how to translate it into a profitable, purpose-driven strategy.

Meet our speakers:
Kaia Allen-Bevan, a Forbes-featured activist and TEDx speaker, has been a driving force in racial justice since 16. She co-organized Brighton’s BLM demonstrations, founded @officialbrightonblm and @YouthTheGap, and leads anti-racism and allyship initiatives at WatchThisSp_ce. Recognised by BusinessToday for her global impact, she’s also a multi-medium creative, podcast co-founder, and speaker dedicated to amplifying marginalised voices
Melanie Lawson, founder and CEO of Bare Biology, founded her premium health supplement brand after being ill with OCD and postnatal depression, having discovered the power of omega-3 for brain health. Building the brand organically with no investors or interest in selling to a big corporate, she isn’t driven by money but by a genuine desire to help all women feel healthy and happy.
Kerry Watkins is the founder and managing director of Social for Good, an agency helping purpose-driven organisations amplify their impact through ethical social media.
With over a decade in social media, she has led projects on gender equality, modern slavery, healthcare, and the arts, building a team of nine specialists dedicated to using social media for positive change.
An advocate for the 4-day workweek, Kerry has also been studying digital wellbeing. In Spring 2025, she’s launching 24/Six, a venture helping individuals and teams create a healthier, more intentional relationship with technology.
