rules and technicalities
• Max buy in of $200 max. Rebuys allowed when below $200 to get you back to the max buy in.
• There will be no rake.
• SB posts $1, BB posts $1.
• 100% optional $5 dealer appreciation (pre-game or when joining) as this is a game with no rake or entry fee, or alternatively tips during the game are also appreciated.
• Live $2 straddle: UTG, the player first to act, has the option of opening the action with a live $2 straddle before seeing / being felt his cards. He cannot live straddle after being dealt his cards otherwise this is just a standard raise.
• Bomb pots: Every 2 orbits (approximately 16 hands) the player with the bomb pot button (which rotates clockwise per use) will be able to start a $5 bomb pot as long as half the table agrees (50% of the table). All players who want to play the bomb pot will call $5 and pre-flop action will end (straight to the flop with all calling players).
• Missing action: Players who miss either (or both) the small blind and big blind will have to pay either / both (respectively) upon returning — The SB amount is dead money and goes into the pot not counted as a bet, BB amount functions as your live bet for that hand. If you only miss the big blind, you’ll need to post the BB and can join action immediately. If you miss part of an orbit (but the big blind is next), you’ll can rejoin simply by posting the BB when it’s your turn as usual.
optional / can be turned on with majority agreement
• Stand up game: All players receive a button which indicates you are “standing”. In order to remove this button, you must win a hand. When almost everyone has discarded their buttons by winning a hand, the last person with a stand-up button must award all other players $2 (or any agreed upon amount). Can be activated throughout the game if all players agree to start the stand up game.
• Seven Deuce Game: Hero (winning player) that wins the hand with Seven Deuce either by bluffing or by showdown forces all villains to award the hero 1 or 2 BB each. (Ex: Hero wins with 72 by bluffing two others off of their hands. He shows his cards and all players award the hero $2.)
