New York Climate Week Event: Cold-Chain Technologies in Food & Ag
FTW Ventures and Supply Change Capital are excited to host an intimate food and agtech gathering at New York Climate Week 2024 with our friends Gullspång Re:food. This event will have a focus on cold chain technologies, an area of the food system that is particularly relevant to the climate change conversation. The global food cold chain is responsible for a staggering 1% of greenhouse gas emissions, and is projected to grow dramatically as the cold chain expands into additional emerging markets such as India and Africa (source).
This is a chance for the entrepreneurial, investment and corporate communities attending New York Climate Week to gather to meet and brainstorm on the leading innovations in the cold chain that can help to reduce the industries energy output by utilizing software, cooling technologies, and smart sensors to improve the efficiency of the food cold chain.
