Black Environmental Mixer presented by Black in Environment x The Black Hive
Join Us for the Black Environmental Mixer at LA Climate Week!
Hosted by Black in Environment, The Black Hive, Black Girl Environmentalist, and Black in Marine Science.
Are you passionate about climate and environmental justice (CEJ) and building a just energy future for Black and other communities of color? Do you know what the Black Climate Mandate is?
Connect with like-minded individuals at the Black Environmental Mixer, a unique opportunity to network, share ideas, and collaborate with Black environmentalists from all sectors, including community-based organizations.
The mixer will serve as an informal gathering aimed at fostering connections among Black environmentalists. This event will provide a platform to celebrate and showcase the diverse work being done in the CEJ ecosystem and encourage collaboration among attendees. Together, we can build community, highlight and celebrate the achievements of Black-led environmental organizations, and create networking opportunities that connect early, mid, and senior career professionals across the environmental discipline.
The mixer will also increase awareness of the programming and resources offered by each org, including the Black Hive's Black Climate Mandate.
Let’s come together to forge stronger connections and advance a sustainable, equitable future for our communities!
