About our host:
Melissa has nearly 20 years of experience in strategic communications, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) consulting, and advertising and public relations where she has overseen major programs and initiatives at numerous Fortune 500 organizations, including Novartis, Exxon Mobil Corporation and Comcast.

While her passion is in creating more equitable and diverse workplaces, Melissa also provides advice and counsel in the employee engagement and organizational change management spaces.

In addition to her bachelor’s degree in advertising from the University of Florida’s College of Journalism and Communications and her master’s degree in media management from Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communications, Melissa also holds a Diversity and Inclusion certificate from Cornell University and a Cultural Awareness for Global Business certificate from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Melissa is based in Denver, Colorado with her husband, her daughter, and her son where they all enjoy the great outdoors and the perfect Colorado weather.
