​The Conservatory is a lush, unexpected tropical oasis tucked away in the middle of London’s famous Barbican complex. It’s actually the second-largest conservatory in London (after Kew Gardens), and it’s kind of a hidden gem — not everyone knows it’s there! It houses over 1,500 species of plants and trees, many of which are tropical or subtropical.
