π± Critical Ecology Lab: BIPOC Leaders Lounge π
βAn evening of connections and vision shared between Black, Indigenous, and allied people of color leaders in the climate space.
βBlack, Indigenous, and other people of the global majority provide essential perspectives needed to create just, equitable, and effective solutions. This gathering is for leaders in all climate and environmental sectors-- from grassroots organizing to green tech and climate philanthropy-- to kick off SF Climate Week by deepening our networks and grounding in our commitments to equity, justice, and liberation.
βWhether you're in STEM, VC, grassroots organizing, a founder or a funder, let's develop collective strategies to build radical freedom legacies into climate solutions.
βClimate change is a symptom of long-term social and economic exploitation, and achieving sustainable climate solutions is impossible without shared goals for racial and economic liberation. Let's build liberation goals into all climate solutions and lead without greenwashing systems of oppression.
