About the speakers:
Karen Hsu, SVP of Mobile Security Solutions at Appdome, which automates security into mobile apps and SDKs. She co-founded BlockchainIntel to detect fraud in transactions, becoming part of Appdome to extend the mission of protecting people and businesses from bad actors. Karen has a B.S. in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University and is co-inventor of 5 patents, leading teams for security, Web3, Cloud Data Management, and CRM platforms. Karen Hsu co-founded BASES at Stanford to foster entrepreneurship and create links between students and industry. She also co-founded Blockchain by Women to provide a platform for innovation, security and risk mitigation.
Fernanda Sottil, Senior Director of Strategy at Incode Technologies, a leading identity verification company. She currently spearheads the strategic direction and growth of Incode Workforce, a product that provides secure, device-independent biometric authentication for enterprises. Workforce integrates seamlessly with existing IAM systems, addressing critical employee interactions and enhancing enterprise security. Prior to Incode, her career includes significant strategic roles at Uber and Google, where she was at the forefront of launching new products and optimizing operations across the United States and Latin America.
Amy Chang, AI Security Researcher at Cisco, is a cybersecurity and artificial intelligence security expert that integrates her academic, government, and practitioner experiences to lead projects at the intersection of AI, intelligence, and security. She currently works on developing AI security and cybersecurity solutions at Cisco. Prior, Amy was previously an Executive Director for Global Cybersecurity Operations at JPMorganChase, where she led cyber threat intelligence teams and worked to protect the firm, its 250,000+ employees, and its vast technological infrastructure against cyber attacks. Amy was also formerly the Staff Director of the Asia and the Pacific Subcommittee at the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Foreign Affairs, and she also served as an intelligence officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve.
Christina Hsu (moderator), Founder of SF Tech Unleashed, a community bringing together industry leaders to learn cross-functionally. She is currently a Senior Product Marketing Manager at Arta Finance, a Ribbit Capital and Coatue funded FinTech startup. As a product marketing leader, she is passionate about storytelling and bringing ambitious people together. She is also a mentor at StartX, Stanford’s startup accelerator, advising early-stage founders on growth and go-to-market strategy. Before Arta, she led Product Marketing at high-growth tech startups in the US and APAC, including Bluevine and Mozilla. Earlier in her career, she advised Fortune 500 executives on business strategy as a consultant at KPMG.
