🤙 About Event
From crickets to cultivated meats, rooftop gardens to regenerative sourcing—what we eat and how we grow it is changing. Enjoy a deliciously provocative conversation exploring the future of food through the lenses of innovation, equity, and sustainability.

Moderated by innovation and circular systems expert Dr. Lara Ramdin, this panel brings together trailblazers redefining what’s on our plates and how it gets there. Chef Lucy of SAUTERELLE will share her culinary adventures crafting craveable dishes with unexpected proteins (yes, insects are on the menu). Dana Tiel from Meaningful Works brings deep insights on the intersection of social impact, community empowerment, and climate-smart food systems. And Hanna Barlow of the Good Food Institute dives into the science and scale-up of alternative proteins and the global push toward more sustainable protein.

Expect bold ideas, real-world examples, and a few surprises from the rooftops and labs that are feeding our future. Whether you're a curious consumer, policymaker, or food industry innovator—this is one bite-sized session you won’t want to miss.

🙌 Event Hosts

Seeds of Hope cultivates wellness and food justice by helping communities reconnect with fresh, healthy food. We distribute more than 70,000 pounds of fruits and vegetables weekly, establish community gardens, and provide education on gardening, composting, healthy cooking, and food preservation to increase nutrition and minimize food waste.

Food x Climate is a group of climate-minded food innovators and activists seeking solutions to one of the most critical yet underserved areas of the climate fight: Food and Climate. Current estimates suggest that we can do everything else right and still lose the fight for a healthy environment if we don’t sufficiently decarbonize food!
