Join us for an evening of insight and open conversation with Building Business as an LGBTQ+ Founder, a fireside chat exploring the unique experiences of LGBTQ+ founders navigating the startup world. Through this discussion, we aim to understand whether building a business as an LGBTQ+ founder comes with its own set of challenges—or if the journey is much the same as for other founders.
Our featured speakers bring diverse and inspiring perspectives. Dr. Henry Blest, co-founder and CTO of Polari Group, is on a mission to remove stigma and shame from anorectal and sexual health, advocating that all health matters. Known as “the most ambitious bottom in London,” Henry combines his expertise in immunology and virology (PhD, Oxford) with a passion for pushing boundaries in health tech.
Adi Hriostova, co-founder of Growyze, joins the conversation with over 20 years of experience in both personal and professional spheres. A lifelong entrepreneur, Adi’s latest venture is focused on transforming the hospitality industry with sustainable tech solutions, helping businesses modernize operations with an eye on climate impact. From playing for her national football team to collaborating with the European Commission, Adi’s journey reflects her resilience and commitment to innovation.
Rounding out the panel is Nicolas Buteau, CEO and founder of Sunny Future, an innovative education platform aimed at transforming career growth into a joyful, social experience. Sunny Future connects career explorers—from professionals to creatives—to resources like bootcamps, masterminds, and coaching, encouraging people to dream big and achieve their goals with community support.
The discussion will be followed by networking drinks and nibbles, kindly provided by our partners at Google Cloud. Whether you’re a founder, investor, or someone interested in the intersection of business and diversity, this event is a great opportunity to connect, share experiences, and learn from others in the community.
