Workademy is turning 2 years old and we decided to host a special edition of the 💛 L&D Happy Space event for this occasion!

​This is a networking event for the learning and development professionals in Berlin. We will have a talk, drinks, snacks, and nice conversations.

​Why you should run your L&D department as you would run a startup

​Are you managing a learning and development department? Have you ever thought about running a startup? Can you believe that these two activities can be similar?

​During my discovery calls with learning and development managers in Berlin, I found some interesting patterns worth to be shared. I realized that the challenges we face when we run and manage a startup are very similar to the ones that learning and development managers experience in their daily jobs. I thought that these two worlds could benefit from exchanging some practices.

​In my talk, I would like to raise and discuss the three pillars that support a startup life and that seems to be essential in the L&D job:

• ​assumptions

• ​minimum viable product

• ​numbers and reporting
