HYRS Program 2025 Research Symposium
The High School Youth Researcher Summer (HYRS) program, funded by Alberta Innovates, provides exceptional high school students with the opportunity to participate in paid research alongside a faculty member at the University of Calgary.
HYRS awardees have been involved in a research project at the University of Calgary for 6 weeks. The program culminates in the thirty Grade 11 students, each with a unique poster presentation, presenting their research on Tuesday, August 12th from 2:00 - 4:00 PM. Stop by the HRIC Atrium on Foothills Campus to learn about the innovative scientific and biomedical research that these students have been involved in. Catering services will be provided.
