PFGS | Policy Wind-tunneling XP
Experiencing the future is critical in being able to act in new ways. Meanwhile too much of our policy circles remain entrenched in the present, subject to a dearth of imagination, fearful of the unknown, aware that change is inevitable, but unwilling to try anything new.
How can we make experiential futures a resource for crafting imaginative and futures-oriented policy?
This is a simple process by which two groups, one in the present and one in the future, can have a meaningful interaction, through which the imagination and design of futures-oriented policy can happen.
The process forms part of an Anticipatory Governance toolkit, a new set of concepts and approaches to make governance futures-responsive. Dr. Jose Ramos will take people through this open source process step by step and offer instructional guidance and facilitation, with a chance for Q&A.
