Post-Layoff Self-Care: A conversation with Kim Nicol and Wendy Saccuzzo
Times have been rough in tech for several months now; if you weren't laid off, someone in your circle likely was. This discussion is for you if you:
were laid off
are the teammate who is left picking up the pieces after the team was laid off
are the hiring manager who had to eliminate roles on your team
or, if you are supporting a friend or family member who is recovering from a layoff.
How are you taking care of yourself during these challenging times? How can you be there for others? Come join the conversation with Kim and Wendy. We're both coaches, and we're talking about this important topic each day with our clients. We will share some ideas with you around mindfulness and self-care to get you through these hard times.
If you're job seeking, it can be hard to stay positive after applications are sent and you don't receive a response. You might not be sure how to process the experience of a layoff and all the emotions that come with it. Processing is important because your feelings, left to fester, may show up when you least expect it- like in interviews. Chances are, someone else out there is feeling similarly.
Please let us know ahead of time what questions or topics are on your mind and we'll bring them into the conversation.
