FASHION YOUR ART WORKSHOP (en)

​Express yourself through wearable art in this hands-on workshop where you’ll paint on your own or upcycled clothes. Dive into the rich history of DIY and subculture as a powerful way to create messages and show the world who you are. If you prefer not to paint a full garment, patches are also available to customize and wear your statement. Bring your own cloth to the workshop.

​Workshop leader Shona is a US artist, based in Berlin. They see being an artist as a job to reflect life back at itself, and spends a lot of time observing the literal moments, as well as recreating the intangible feelings as well through painting, street art, and tattoos. They work to combine all of these elements to make art more accessible, and encourage people to partake in the creation of their work since they view art as a part of all of us. The artist specifically like to focus on representing subcultures within larger cultural understandings.
