About the Speakers:
Sheila Marcelo: Sheila has more than 20 years of leadership experience in internet consumer marketplace businesses, including as the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ohai.ai, a cutting edge technology startup leveraging generative AI to improve the lives of families. She was a former Venture Partner at New Enterprise Associates (NEA) and is a founding board member of The Asian American Foundation (TAAF). Ms. Marcelo previously founded Care.com in 2006 and took it public in 2014; she was Chairwoman and CEO until early 2020, when the company was sold to IAC. Ms. Marcelo has been honored with numerous accolades. She was just on Forbes 50 Over 50. She was one of Fortune’s "Top 10 Women Entrepreneurs" and appeared at Fortune's Most Powerful Women Summit. She is a Henry Crown Fellow with the Aspen Institute, a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum, and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Ms. Marcelo earned a B.A. from Mount Holyoke College, which also conferred upon her an honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters in 2015. She has a J.D. and M.B.A. with honors from Harvard University. Sol Rashidi: Chief Data, Analytics, AI Officer @ Fortune 100s including Estee Lauder, Merck, Sony Music, Royal Carribbean, and Ernst and Young. She was named Forbes ‘AI Maverick of the 21st Century’ and a Top 50 Women in Tech. She is the author of Your AI Survival Guide, which provides Practical and proven AI deployment strategies for non-technical business leaders.
Alisha Outridge: C-Suite executive and operator, serving as both CTO + CPO. Currently is CTO/CPO of Byte & Cord, previously held the same position at TuneCore, Two Canoes, and WHIM (a brand of Videri). She teaches AI at Brown University.
Maya Ber Lerner: Co-founder and CEO at Chiefy, a cloud software for surgical team communication & collaboration. Prior to founding Chiefy, she spent over 15 years building software for automation, team collaboration and quality improvement in software development and IT. Maya has held key positions such as Chief Technology Officer, VP of Product Management, and various other management roles. Maya holds a B.Sc in Biomedical Engineering from Tel Aviv University. She is currently based in New York.
Nadia Masri: Co-Founder and CEO at Aris Data. Nadia is an entrepreneur and four-time founder. She has headlined the Forbes 30 Under 30 list, is a TEDx speaker, holder of 2 patents, and has been featured on CNBC’s Top 100 startups. Nadia is currently the Founder & CEO of Aris Data, an on-demand data capture platform for AI/ML training.

ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION
The AI Furnace is NYC's largest and most active AI community. It was started by AI founders, Angela Mascarenas and Hamza Zaveri, who were based in NYC and London and started the org to support fellow AI founders and operators building in local cities outside of Cerebral Valley (San Francisco). It has since grown to a global community of 12,000 AI founders, operators and researchers and has since opened up chapters in Boston and Dubai.
