​Manjari Foundation was set up in May 2015 as a grassroots organization working to alleviate poverty in rural India. At the core of their work is a mission to uplift rural communities by building resilient and self-sustainable women-led institutions.

​Having impacted the lives of over 470,000 rural people, Manjari Foundation has been doing fantastic work to develop women's organisations at the grassroots level and encourage women entrepreneurs in rural India

​A Rang De impact partner, Rang De social investors have invested in hundreds of women entrepreneurs associated with Manjari Foundation. These women have gone on to run enterprises, earn better and enable better opportunities for their communities. A core geographical area of focus of this partnership has been rural Rajasthan.

Sanjay will share the story behind building Manjari Foundation and insights around entrepreneurship in rural India, especially for women, and how crucial low-cost credit has been for this journey.
