About Event
Shira has been leading intimate sing-a-longs for decades since she learned how to play Tracy Chapman and Indigo Girls covers in middle school. She recently launched a monthly series with Rachel Tidd and Jeanette Devita that has been gaining a following. They are excited to bring "Sing-a-long for Sanity" to Danby where they have many community connections.
Shira will lead us through a nostalgic and cathartic mix of songs with guitar accompaniment while the lyrics are projected on a screen for all to see. From Cat Stevens to Cat Power and yes, Chappell Roan, you can expect a fun and inspiring mix including folk, pop, soul, grunge, and more.
