Traditional Medicine Temazcal Ceremony
Join us at Casa de Healing for a powerful Traditional medicine Temazcal led by Diego & Lumina. Coming together they will share the magic and teachings of the sacred non Psychedelic healing indigenous medicines, jape, mambè, ambil, mapacho, as we share our words, songs, and prayers. These sacred medicines will be pre-prep to the sweat lodge ceremony in what many cultures they call the Earth’s sacred womb—the Temazcal.
LOGISTICS:
Arrival 7 PM
Ceremony: 7:15 PM -10:30 PM
Post-ceremony: you are more than welcome to connect with community post ceremony till 11:30 PM—we will have some fun surprises!
INTENTIONS: Please be prepared to share your prayers for your mother and all mothers.
LOCATION: 129 S Bonnie Beach Pl, CA 90063 🅿️ street parking, first come first serve. Street parking is shared by the local neighbors, please be respectful. If hard to find spots, you can park across the way at our local park (2 min walk to the house).

In some traditions, women cover their shoulders out of respect for the ceremony. Pair a top with a long skirt, or wear a loose dress (knowing it will get sandy and wet from steam vapor). We are a safe space and open to normal bikinis or whatever type of healing wear suits you best!
Ensure you are well hydrated before ceremony and bring a large personal water bottle to continue to hydrate after. Slow down water consumption in the hour before we enter the womb.
A filtered cold shower is provided post ceremony, you may wish to bring an additional dry towel as well as a cozy clothing to change into.
WHAT IS A TEMAZCAL?
The Temazcal ceremony is considered a therapeutic and spiritual experience, promoting relaxation, physical detoxification, emotional release, and a sense of connection to nature and ancestors. The ritual often includes chants, prayers, guided meditations, or breathwork led by a Temazcalero (the guide or healer).
Health Conditions: Individuals with heart conditions, severe hypertension, or other serious health issues should consult a healthcare provider before participating. We strongly encourage you to make us aware of any serious medical conditions. Please consult us prior for approval, as we are not liable whether spoken or unspoken, and your health and safety are of paramount importance!
Enter Casa de Healing assuming your own responsibility and risk (note the risks associated are about the same as a traditional sauna).
Please refrain from the following: Drugs of any kind (over the counter, includes marijuana and micro-dosing), Alcohol (Includes Kombucha and Tinctures), Caffeinated and Dark Beverages (Coffee, Soda, Black Tea, etc.), Unhealthy or Processed Food and Sugar.
ENERGETIC EXCHANGE: $100
Donations help support the facilitators and community and maintain the land and resources. If you change your mind after committing, let us know ASAP. Otherwise, spots are non-refundable but transferable to another experience.
If you are experiencing financial hardship please speak to the facilitators prior to the experience to come to an agreement around the donation amount.
