Film screening and discussion with filmmaker Michael Rowley and Ranjana Bhandari from Liveable Arlington.

Documentary Storytelling as a Tool for Change

Join filmmaker Michael Rowley and leader Ranjana Bhandari from Liveable Arlington for a discussion of the short documentary series "Faces of Fracking" and the role of storytelling in environmental campaigns. The six-part series profiles Arlington residents affected by fracking operations, released as the city considers new drilling permits near schools and neighborhoods.

This includes watching a 20 minute film, and a panel discussion on how Liveable Arlington is using this series in their campaign against Total, the french company wanting to expand fracking operations in the city of Arlington despite the harms it’s causing to people living there.

Presented in partnership with Liveable Arlington, liveablearlington.org
