​Spiraling Upwards is the second launch of the Traveling Gallery of Fluid Motion’s exhibition series that bridges the gap between science and art. Following the inaugural show, Chaosmosis: Assigning Rhythm to the Turbulent, held at The National Academy of Sciences in Washington D.C. in 2023, this year’s presentation delves into the intersection of Leonardo da Vinci’s studies on fluid dynamics and flight, alongside carefully selected pieces from the Gallery of Fluid Motion’s archive at the American Physical Society’s Division of Fluid Dynamics (APS-DFD).
