About Event
I am following up on the email that I sent last month (shown below) announcing the 2025 Legatus Play and Pray event. There are three days and nights of fabulous golf, meals, liturgies, and fellowship starting on Monday afternoon, April 28, through Wednesday evening, April 30. We will have a closing dinner on Wednesday, with everybody departing that Thursday morning, May 1. We are planning for 12 golfers but will allow for a hard cap of 16. To date, we have seven players and we will wrap up registration this month. Playing and non-playing spouses are welcome. We will require a $1,000 nonrefundable deposit that will be applied to your account. This is an unofficial – and informal – Legatus event, as opposed to a formal pilgrimages or Summits that the National office organizes and, as such, I must always ensure that it is financially independent. This has never been an issue with any of our four years of events. We have no goal of making money on this event. Rather, our intent is to simply cover all costs.
