​A Party to Save America. Inviting open-minded, people who give a sh*t and don't moralize.

​We've rented out a space to do our first open bar event discussing the issues that matter in different pods... this month: Free Speech across multiple facets. After 30 minutes of initial socializing, we'llstart the main event, where people will be assigned and rotate from different pods to discuss the following issues in small groups (6-8 per pod). After everyone has had a chance to be in a pod, it'll just be a regular party, but hopefully one that gave you a chance to think harder.

​🟦 Pod 1: When Speech Hurts Feelings, Not Facts

​Should universities allow speakers whose views offend large groups of students?

​Example: A right-wing speaker argues gender ideology is dangerous.

​🟥 Pod 2: Speech vs. Safety

​Should protest speech be limited when it causes real-life disruption or fear?
Left-edge example: Pro-Palestine encampments that block access to buildings.

​🟪 Pod 3: Online Truth Police

​Should platforms censor health misinformation or conspiracy theories?
Banning anti-vaccine or COVID lab-leak theories (2020) + taking down Trump election fraud claims (2020–2022).

​🟨 Pod 4: Art, Speech, and Social Pressure

​Should artists or public figures lose jobs for things they say online?
Firing/shaming a comedian for making a transphobic joke or firing/shaming an athlete who supports BLM or criticizes police.
