Out in Climate - Tour of Governors Island

​Please join us for a special Out in Climate tour of Governors Island! Space is currently limited to 20 people, but we may make more spots available.

​Please arrive promptly so you don't miss the ferry!

​4:00 PM -- Arrive for ferry at Battery Maritime Building, 10 South Street

​4:15 PM -- Ferry departs to Governors Island

​4:25 PM -- Welcome and overview of Governors Island with Lauren Wang, Director of Climate Programs, Trust for Governors Island

​4:35 PM -- Tour of Governors Island climate initiatives

​5:30 PM -- Conclude tour and return to Taco Vista / Island Oyster for happy hour or return ferry

​The island is accessible via Trust-operated ferries at the Battery Maritime Building, 10 South Street in Manhattan and from Brooklyn on the NYC Ferry South Brooklyn route.

​​Please note, there is no charge for the tour itself however we are charging a modest price to help cover Out in Climate's costs and to reduce attrition. We've found that when folks pay even a small amount, they're more likely to attend. Please only register if you plan on attending.
