Introducing the Kuzu Graph Database and Unity Catalog Integration

​In this talk, we will introduce Kuzu, an embedded, fast, scalable open source graph database and its key features that make it a great fit for graph analytics workflows alongside the data lake ecosystem. Kuzu's philosophy is to make it as simple as possible for developers to transform and query their data as a graph.

In the newly introduced Unity Catalog extension for Kuzu (which follows the Delta Lake and Iceberg extensions), we highlight the key steps involved in moving data from Unity Catalog tables into a Kuzu graph and showcase a simple example of how simple it is to move data between these formats.
