Rust Girona Hack & Learn 02 2025
Segona trobada mensual de Hack & Learn del 2025 de la comunitat Rustacean de Girona.
En l’anterior trobada vam tenir únicament una proposta de projecte i tots els assistents vam estar d’acord que serà el projecte que desenvoluparem plegats per aprendre i/o millorar el nostre coneixement en Rust.
Després vam definir el projecte i reduir les funcionalitats al mínim de tal manera que puguem executar l’eina, que vam anomenar offsync. És de codi obert i està a Github https://github.com/rust-girona/offsync
En aquesta trobada començarem a picar les primeres línies de codi. Repartirem tasques i farem pair programming quan faci falta.
Volem fer créixer la comunitat de Rust Girona, per tant obrim les portes a tothom amb qualsevol nivell de coneixement sobre Rust, que vulgui venir a programar aquest projecte, un altre projecte qualsevol, exercicis (com Rustlings, Rust Fudamentals), etc.
Si tens ganes d’aprendre o programar en Rust amb col·legues i contribuir a fer créixer la comunitat de Rust Girona, no dubtis en venir.
Per cert, hem canviat el nom de la sèrie de trobades que farem amb aquest format a Rust Girona Hack & Learn.

La trobada serà en algun punt de Girona. Uns dies abans publicarem el lloc concret, ja que pot variar en funció del nombre d’assistents i disponibilitat dels llocs que podem disposar.

Second monthly meetup of Hack & Learn 2025 from Rustacean Girona community.
In our previous meetup, we had only one project proposal. All the attendees agreed to co-develop to learn and improve our Rust skills.
We spent the rest of the time defining the project’s scope and deciding the base features to be able to execute the tool. We named it offsync and it’s hosted on Github https://github.com/rust-girona/offsync
In this meetup, we’ll start writing the first lines of code. We’ll split tasks and we’ll do pair programming when needed.
We want to boost the Girona Rust community. Our doors are open to everybody with any level of Rust skills, who is interested in programming in Rust this project, whatever other project, exercises (com Rustlings, Rust Fudamentals), etc.
If you’re eager to learn or program in Rust with peers and contribute to growing the Rust Girona community, don’t hesitate to join us.
By the way, “Rust Girona Hack & Learn” is the new name of the series of meetups we’ll be hosting in this format.
