In the evolving tertiary sector, clear and compelling communication through storytelling, is a leadership superpower. Stories help teams make sense of complexity, build trust, and keep people motivated, through growth, change and uncertainty.
This interactive session equips professionals with the tools to build a Future-Ready StoryBank: a structured collection of stories that enhance communication, define project or team visions, manage risk, aid in feedback and negotiation, and help share outcomes and achievements.
Participants will leave with a personalised StoryBank structure, draft stories they can immediately apply and a simple process to continue collecting and using stories in the future. Whether you're preparing for change, engaging teams, or shaping future strategies, this session will give you the storytelling tools to inspire action and connection.
What will you learn?
You will leave this session with the skills to:
Use storytelling as a tool for future-ready communication, helping teams navigate complexity and uncertainty.
Identify and craft core stories that create alignment, build resilience, and shape a shared vision of the future.
Build and manage a personalised Future-Ready StoryBank, equipping them with narratives that support evolving workplace needs.
Leverage storytelling to strengthen engagement and foster a mindset of curiosity, innovation, and continuous learning.
Who should attend?
This workshop is ideal for leaders at any level who need to communicate with confidence and clarity in complex workplaces.
"Michelle's presentation style made storytelling seem entirely possible. I felt like I could do it (which is actually a very powerful feeling)!"
"It can be challenging to highlight conflicts in sharing stories as it can feel negative, but Michelle pushed me to see that it only enhances the climax and magnitude of the outcome. In turn, it provides the opportunity for the 'teachable moment"
